Jasdeep’s journey into the world of content creation began back in 2018 in the most unexpected way. His cousin had started a YouTube channel, creating funny scripted videos. One day, he asked Jasdeep to act in one, and that moment lit a fire within him. “I always wanted to perform in front of the camera,” Jasdeep recalls. That small opportunity was all he needed to get started.
Shortly after, he began making funny videos on TikTok. Like many beginners, he faced challenges. “I didn’t know how to make good content. I was trying, but I wasn’t getting it right,” he says. When TikTok was banned in India, his creative journey came to a stop. For two years, he stayed away from social media, unsure of where to go next.
In 2023, during a casual hangout with a friend, Jasdeep made a spontaneous decision that changed his life. “We were just sitting together when we decided, let’s start a YouTube channel,” he shares. They started uploading vlogs and funny content, but the results were unsatisfying. Still, they didn’t give up.
They shifted to Instagram and began posting funny, relatable reels. That’s when things really took off. “We created an account and just started making what made us laugh,” he says. Slowly but surely, people started connecting with their content. Then came the first improvement, a reel hit 1 lakh views.
“I remember both of us literally crying. It was such an emotional moment,” Jasdeep recalls
.As they kept posting, their content started reaching more and more people, eventually crossing 10 million views. With that came collaboration opportunities and their first earnings. Jasdeep didn’t think twice, he gave all of it to his parents.
“My parents have always supported me, no matter what. Whatever I’ve achieved, it’s because of their blessings and encouragement.”
The hard work didn’t stop there. In just 30 days, Jasdeep reached over 50 million+ views, a number that still feels unreal to him. Recently, he bought his first car, a moment of pride for him and his family.
“I never expected this. It feels like a dream. I’m earning well, doing what I love, and my parents are proud. That means everything to me.”
What makes Jasdeep’s story even more inspiring is that he’s doing all of this while still focusing on his studies. Balancing college with content creation isn’t easy, but he’s making it work.
“My journey wasn’t perfect. There were ups and downs. But if you truly love something, never give up on it. Keep going, your time will come.”
And for Jasdeep Singh, it certainly has.
