Social media journey
Her journey started nearly five years ago, right in the middle of the Covid-19 lockdown. Like many of us, Sanchali was stuck at home, but instead of feeling limited, she found inspiration. The stillness of the world around her gave her a reason to reconnect with something she had always loved, dance.
“I started dancing again, and this time I recorded myself and put it out there,” she shares. The response was immediate and heartwarming. “The appreciation I got in the beginning was massive,” she recalls. But as any creator will tell you, the road isn’t always smooth.
Over time, things slowed down. Despite trying different types of content, nothing seemed to click. Just when doubts started to slide in, a few group dance reels she featured in went viral, crossing millions of views. There was a new wave of growth, but as quickly as it came, it faded again.
It was during this challenging phase that Sanchali made a game changing decision.
“This year, I told myself, I want to be original. I want to create trends, not just follow them,” she says.
That mindset shift led to her experimenting with stand out dance reels, simple yet visually striking videos that caught the attention of thousands. The support started coming in, not just in likes and views, but in heartfelt messages from people who were genuinely moved by her work.
“People started DMing me saying I inspire them, that they love my choreographies… that meant the world to me,” she shares.
Despite the ups and downs, Sanchali sees her journey as a story still unfolding. “It’s been a rocky road, but I’ve loved every bit of it. And this is only the start. There’s so much more to come.”
And we believe her. Because when someone chooses to be authentic in a world chasing trends, they don’t just stand out, they lead.
